Hannah freeman was a 27 year old fourth grade teacher at Ranger High-Tech Academy in North Ridgeville,Ohio,after a breakup with her longterm boyfriend in 2024,she refused to let go.
Hannah began stalking her ex, she showed up at his home uninvited, she went to his parent’s house, she followed him to his workplace.
Investigators later found she had made 33 visits over just 19 days.
She took things from his car, a laptop,backpacks,a wallet , totaling roughly$ 1000.
Her ex-boyfriend eventually called 911,reporting that he felt threatened and harassed.
He detailed the repeated visits , the theft, and the escalating fear.
When police arrived,they found Freeman parked in a lot just outside her ex-boyfriend’s workplace,when officers questioned her ,she denied taking any of his belongings claiming that he had invited her there.
When they spoke to her ex-boyfriend,he was adamant,stating that he had not invited her and she had repeatedly followed him,showing up unannounced at his home,workplace,and even his parents house.
He explained that over the course of weeks,Hanna had stolen items from his car.
Police began documenting her behavior,building a case that painted a picture ofrelentless pursuit and harassment.
This wasn’t Hannah’ Freeman’s first run – in with the law.
In November 2022, North Ridgeville police responded to her residence twice due to noise complaints.
According to police reports ,Freeman allegedly told neighbors she would not get in trouble because her father was the police chief in North Ridgeville,Ohio.
Despite her father’s position, freeman’s legal troubles escalated, Westlake police confronted Hannah Freeman and eventually arrested her.
