This is Jordan Sorensen, for the last two days, police have been desperately searching for him .

after he vanished with his newborn son .
Police don’t know it yet , but Jordan hides a horrifying secret lying only yards away in the woods.

And as the search progresses, investigators grow more concerned for the baby.

they are begining to think something sinister has happened.

I’ts January 19th ,several days since Jordan and his son Otis were last seen and officers are about to start their search at this hotel.

Kiersten Anderson gave birth to the baby on December 25th,2023 but after the birth ,she tested positive for fentanyl.

And the father ,Jordan, was left as the sole parent in charge.since he too had problems with narcotics, he was asked to take a drug test to prove he was clean and capable of looking after his son .
But despite clearing the test , The Department of Children ,youth, and Families didn’t gran’t him the sole custody of his son.

Eventually pushing him to live with a friend Pamela
and take further tests to prove he could look after Odis, but shortly after moving to his friends place , Jordan disappeared.

Then he was reported to ave been seen at this hotel .
But even though Amanda and her boyfriend haven’t seen Jordan, they have information that will help get this investigation moving in the right direction .

Amanda and her boyfriend inform police that Jordan Often hangs out at a nearby Kai Tai park, which has become something of a camp for the homeless in the recent years.
With time running out and a baby ‘s life on the line , police ruched to the camp to check out this new lead.

Police rushed to the camp to check out this new lead.
Little do police knwo that they’re about to become extremely familiar with Kai Tai park.

As it would become the site of hours of investigation and would eventually reveal one of the most distrubing discoveries to come out of the city in years.

But it doesn’t take long for officers to find someone who would provide the very first lead about Jordan’s whereabouts.

With Pamela’s name being mentioned, officers decided to visit her and through her , police are about to get information that will tell them exactly what kind of father Jordan is.

By the time Pamela noticed Odis was missing, Jordan had already failed to attend several follow – drug tests and gave the DCYF excuses at every turn.

So far, investigators believed both Jordan and Odis were in danger, but with the information Pamela provides, it becomes imperative to find Odis.

Especially considering Jordan’s carelessness and lack of responsibility towards his son.

If Pamela is right, then nobody has seen Odis for almost 48 hours.
And Jordan’s excuse that he’s with a family member that he’s never been mentioned before raises all kinds of red flags.

By 5:00 p.m. that same day , a judge gives authorization for law enforcement to search any location where they think Jordan might be found .

So , police returned to Kai Tai park in the hopes that he snuck into the homeless camp at night.

This is one of the tents police suspect Jordan has been staying in.
But even though there’s no sign of him inside, there are signs of recent activity and maybe even drug use.

But the search isn’t a total loss as they are going to discover information that will eventually lead them to the one person who will help them bring thiscase to a close.

There’s no sign of steve inside the tent, but even though Port Townson Police don’t know it yet , Steve is going to become a crucial part of these investigation.

But while looking for steve , they uncover information that ‘s going to make them seriously vorried about the baby’s condition.
By this point, Jordan’s son has been missing for 3 days, which is around the time this man heard a baby crying in the camp.

Even though a baby crying isn’t something unusual .
The timing is too coincidental to ignore , as is the fact Jordan appears to have brought his baby to the camp that’s surrounded by drugs , used needels ,and general filth.
Which could put Odis in danger of infection or worse.

Even though they make little progress here, back at the station, Port Townson Police have obtained data from Jordan’s phone.
And even though it had been turned off for hours, they have his call logs…

including a call made only hours earlier to his friend Larry.
When officers track Larry down ,they’d have no idea that he’s going to tell them something that will blow this case wide open.

Larry isn’t going to tell them what he and Jordan talked about in today’s phone call.

but officers now that Jordan has been staying in someone else’s tent at Kite Tai park, and that tent just so happens to belong to another man called steve.
Returning to Steve’s tent , police realized the search for Jordan and Odis is about to become even more urgent.

Officers continue to search through the night and the later it gets, the more concerned they become.
They put all of their resources into finding Jordan and covered half of the city with nothing to show for it.

But by 10 : a. m the following morning they get a call from steve that’s going to turn this investigation on its head.
Jordan has crashed out in Steve’s tent , but Odis is nowhere to be seen….

This is the worst case scenario for police, not only is his 25-day old son not with him.

But Jordan appears unable to speak or communicate with police in any way at all ,with Jordan in custody, every effort can be placed on finding Odis.

But with Jordan’s dead stare in defeated look, police are starting to realize they might need to prepare for the worst.

And back at the camp, the search for Odis becomes even more desperate.

Jordan eventually tells officers exactly what happened and agrees to lead them to where Odis can be found.

But any hope the police have that Odis is safe is about to be cut tragically short.

According to Jordan , he fell asleep with the baby, who shifted position, which interfered with baby’s ability to breath and caused the baby’s death.

Jordan claims he was so scared when he realized Odis passed away, that he didn’t know what to do, so he took his son, placed him in a car seat , and left his body in a secluded part of the camp that’s only yards away from their current position.
Jordan was charge with:

But in a shocking twist, those charges was later dropped with the prosecuting attorney saying he dismissed the charges against Jordan without prejudice as he couldn’t find evidence to support the proposed felony charges.

It was ruled that Odis’s death was accidental and Sorensen was to face no other punishment over the tragic loss of his newborn son.
